- According to independent sources, there are about 510,000 civilians and soldiers affected with PTSD as a result of the October 7th massacre by Hamas and the war afterwards.
- Love Israel’s initial goal is to support two important outreaches, which would be financed through your kind donations and giving.
- Our funding goal is to support three courses of 50 healthcare professionals each, totaling 150 participants. They will be personally trained by Dr. Foa, and certified as PTSD therapists, using her clinical approach which has been proven as the best treatment for the recovery of PTSD (90% effective).
- The cost for one psychologist or clinical social worker to study the PTSD therapy’s certified procedure is $1,000. The cost for training/certifying 50 health professionals for one course is $50,000. Three courses at a total cost of $150,000.
- We want to raise $50,000 by the end of April and another $50,000 by the end of May to train two of the three groups of health care professionals who will be conducting the PTSD recovery therapy.
- Love Israel wants to provide 10 therapy groups for soldiers and civilians that suffer from PTSD. The groups will be held in 16 weekly sessions.
- The cost for one soldier or civilian attending a 16-weeks therapy group is $3,600 per soldier. The cost of an entire therapy group for sixteen weeks for 10 soldiers is $36,000.
- Love Israel’s bottom-line financial goal is to raise $510,000 to support the initial effort, plus an expansion of the program through 2024 based on success of the initial effort.
- Beyond this initial effort, we will be partnering with other organizations and individuals to raise even more funds to extend the PTSD Recovery Program to the many more who need it.
- Love Israel Foundation USA will be one region, among several around the world, participating in this broad-based campaign to help the people of Israel who have been adversely affected by the terrorists of Hamas.
- The average Palestinian citizen is not the enemy of Israel. It is the radical Hamas faction that is out of control, with an inability of the Palestinian government to control them.
- This effort by Love Israel to address the PTSD issue is not at all political in nature. Love Israel Foundation USA’s effort is to support a humanitarian cause that is fundamental to the objectives and purpose of the world-wide Love Israel organizations.
